We completed the de-fit of a pop-up shop in Chadstone Shopping Centre. The project was carried out overnight, over 8 hours, with an 8-person team, ensuring the store was safely cleared before the centre reopened.

Due to the store’s open location within the shopping centre, tall safety walls could not be erected to separate the work area from the public. This required careful planning and rapid execution to minimise any risk to shoppers and staff. All fixtures, fittings, and non-structural elements were removed efficiently, leaving the site clean, safe, and ready for refurbishment.

The REMOVE IT team demonstrated expert soft demolition, strip-out, and de-fit skills, managing a high-pressure commercial project with speed, safety, and professionalism.

Soft Demolition Project – Residential Property, Hastings, Victoria

We were subcontracted to carry out soft demolition on a residential property in Hastings, Victoria. The project involved removing roof tiles, fixtures, fittings, and all non-structural materials to prepare the home for full demolition.

Our team completed the strip-out efficiently and safely, ensuring all materials were sorted for recycling and disposal in line with environmental standards.

Working in a residential neighbourhood required careful planning to minimise noise and disruption to neighbours. Strict safety and dust-control measures were maintained throughout the project, and all works were finished on time and to a high standard.

We then removed tenant-constructed internal walls to return the space to its original condition.
